The term "Allies" is broken into two categories, Freelance and Assist. Freelance-type allies are random wandering characters that does not oppose the party or characters that is rather neutral at the moment/indefinitely. Assist-type allies are characters that are not in the party, doesn't necessarily follows the party, but joins in or assists in some part of missions or quests.
